Affiliate Site vs Own E-commerce Site

I am working with my brother, he is in his 60's, we are building an online business together. He has cancer and is not able to leave the house as much as he was accustomed to in the past.  I told him about my little hobby of trying to learn how to make a living/income from the Internet. So we purchased hosting and a domain. aff. link

My research to date has been on making an affiliate site, out of the blue he has all these questions. He wants to make his site look like an online store. Now I am totally lost. I tell him, that this is all new to me I will have to study this, online store thing, and let him know.

So about 3 days later, this is what I now know. We are using a self hosted Word Press site.
We need the following items;
  • Inventory
  • Secure Socket Layer SSL
  • EIN number
  • Business license
  • Shopping Cart to accept payments
  • Software to display the inventory in the store setting and to keep track of what we have on hand
  • Not carrying inventory, we would need a relationship with a drop shipper or a
  • Manufacturer
  • Register with the state for paying sales taxes
and more I had stopped at that point

AdSense earinings, for real.

I recently viewed my AdSense account the other day, imagine my surprise when I discovered I had earned a small amount for the month.

Wow, now I am new to this Internet marketing thing, I do not always follow the steps for keyword research, back linking, article writing or any of the other activities that I have been instructed on doing to make a site popular.

I haven't been able to publish as often as I would like.

Honestly I am having a hard time thinking of information to post. Which means I need to do more research for you my reader. Earnings for the month ended up being the most so far.

I am happy now to get more work done, more information for you.
